Two rounds of interview. Very job specific questions. Strength related
for package handling, computer ability for scanning & tracking packages
(maybe 20 keystrokes of data entry for each package picked up and
another 20 per stop), memory ability for the numerous procedures,
extensive background check for criminal and drug history (comparable to
a gov't secret clearance BI), some tests. Thirty days of paid training
before turning you loose on a route and then 5 days of ride-along with
an experienced courier. I was older & much more widely experienced than
most of the interviewers and had a good time with them, teasing &
telling jokes. For a 21 year old, fresh in the workforce it could be
more intimidating.
