Working for fedex is as bad as it can get . I was a courier for them
for 20 years until I finally got up enough nerve to resign. Its hard to
do when you have a family and a special needs child. The company
promotes itself to the public as a great caring employer when in fact
the only thing they are concerned about is productivity. You are
required to make it happen at all cost but if you get a ticket have an
accident or make any of the customers upset then you are punished. Take
note that between 10 am and 1030 am in any city in the US there are
many fedex drivers speeding and driving recklessly to make the
commitment on deliveries because if they dont make commitment they will
be written up and disciplined accordingly.
