I worked as an outside sales rep. for a Company called Fastenal. They
sell industrial supplies (bolts, fasteners, tools ect.). I did very well
in this mans world. It seems that I found that a pretty face with a
little knowledge can really succeed in this industry. I did so well I
set my own hours. I worked really hard to set up my clients and called
on them once a week. I became the first person they called if they
needed anything in the industrial wold of fasteners.I gave up this life
to become a full time mother of three.Which to me is much more
rewarding. Although I have found that being home and this my sound
crazy has been a very hard job. Since I stay home my husband expects me
to everything with very little pay.(200.) a month. I have 3 children (4
if you count my husband hehe) I have to get 2 kids off to school every
morning That includes breakfast, backpacks, teeth brushed, hair
combed, ect. I also have to get my husband off to work Ironed
shirt ,coffee ,breakfast, make sure he has his belt on that kind of
stuff. Anyway That is how my day starts off and when my 4 year old gets
up it all starts over again. I am in a car pool with the other parents
on picking up the kids from school. It has worked out really well I pick
up every other week.(for my 8yr old). My 13 year old walks to school we
live right by the school. When they all get home I give out chores to
get done homework then it's off to the softball field.Yep that's right
softball. My 13 year old plays asa select softball and she is a pitcher
so we have to practice everyday.I bet you can guess who has to be the
catcher yep me.. She is pitching around 60 mph. I have all kinds of
bumps and scrapes all the time but I wouldn't trade them for
anything.Spending time with my kids and making sure they all three get
the attention they deserve is very important to me. I cook every night
except Saturday we don't alot of fast food My kids would rather eat at
Red Lobster than McDonald's any day. That may not seem like much of a
comparison to some people but ask just a few kids where they want to
eat and see what they say..Well, it's now time to get baths done teeth
brushed bedtime stories read and get our clothes laid out for tomorrow
so I had better go for now. I guess that I have learned that being calm
in intense situations has made my life a great deal easier.I feel that
if you start your day off good just maybe your whole day will be filled
with joy and happiness and if something comes up at school or work for
my family at least they can say well my morning was good.Right? And
hopefully if they have a bad day I can make it all better when they get
home. Yep that's right There's No Place Like Home.
