Lovely company to work for. About 70% of the staff are qualified
engineers so there is a definate air of professionalism and a high
standard. Dress code is smart/casual. Due to the hot climate in South
Africa very few people wear corporate wear like suits and ties. It just
isn't practical. But jeans are not acceptable so the general dress is
smart pants with a shirt with a collar.
Our standard office hours are 08h00 - 16h00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours
per week) but extra time is put in as and when required. The company is
target driven and if these cannot be met during office hours then some
extra devotion will be required. These efforts do not go unnoticed and
the company has a good recognition and reward system.
The company has a very flat structure so there are not a lot of
opportunites for upward progression but there is scope for growth within
each position. There are however opportunites for international
placement as the company is part of a global group.
