Job Title Workplace Survey
Lead Analyst II I worked in the IT department as a Lead Analyst II which is related to industry Business Analyst. The position at first was a challenging and rewarding one as I worked for the Telecom division for BSC (Business Service Company) branch of Exelon. As I became successful at the company I soon found that there were jealous insecure people that had racial prejudices against male African Americans. AT first I was working for a good group of managers. However because of the merger to a company in Philly called PECO tehse people were forced to retire or take a severance package. After they left, the characteristics of the organization changed. Before they left I was transferred to the EPS project. A political project like ENRON's, in which the project consisted of the enterprise wide implementation of the financials thru hardwarde/software implementation. Unfortunately I had to deal a level of trivial racial indifferences and decided it best to leave the project. However I was black balled and later fired from the company. Exelon is not the compnay most people think it is. It has racial discrimination, prejudices and ignorances that should no longer be part of today's society.
