I am currently paid a base salary of 26,700 plus a monthly hiring bonus
and a commission paid off of our group's performance.
Information when I started was a base pay plus overtime until moving in
to management, which would then change to a salary plus commission paid
off of branch profits.
I have no year end bonuses or hiring bonus, although I have different
goals set for me (that I help in setting) for monthly and quarterly
incentives.
Enterprise is privately held, so there are no stock options, but I do
have a profit sharing account the company set up for me (this is done
for all of our employees) which is contributed to on a yearly basis.
Enterprise takes 5% of it's yearly profit and divides it among
employees. I was 20% vested at 3 years of employment, and will be 100%
vested at 7 years of employment.
When I started I got 7 paid days off, in addition to paid holidays, as
of 2 years I got 17 paid days per year, plus access to 20 sick leave
days for long term sickness. When I reach 5 years this September, I
will get 22 paid days per year, plus holidays, and have 60 sick leave
days available. Although I do not have children, when I do I will be
allowed a phase back to work after maternity leave (which is fully paid
for all employees who have been with the company for two years or more) -
this gives me five weeks, starting the first week at 20% of my
workload, stepping up each week so that by week 5 I am at 100% of my
workload, but am being paid full salary/commission the entire time.
From employees I work with who have done this, it is beyond value to
them in how much it helped with separation anxiety and easing back after
an average 8 to 12 week maternity leave.
