I got a lot of situational questions beginning with ....Tell me about a
time when.....It involved a lot of customer service issues. What you
are also encouraged to do is to talk about anything the interviewer
comes up with and keep the convo going as long as you can. Show some
diversty in your knowledge. Fir example,if your interviewer start
talking about vehicles, turn the convo around to something you know or a
vehicle story. If there is a hook there, that will influence a
decision. What the company wants is someone to be friendly and a good
talker. If your a quiet person, you may not be a fit or may be seen as
moody or rude. There are three rounds of interviews. one is a phone
interview with the area HR coordinator. the next is with the Area
manager and the final one is with the branch manager. chances are very
good if the Area manager likes you,you will have a job. On the third
interview, you would have to absolutely drop the ball in order to not
get hired as Branch manager and Area manager are almost always on the
same page. One question I remember was Is the customer always right? My
answer was no....and it turned out to be the right answer. If we
dropped the ball and screwed up,we were expected to fix it,which is
fine. If we are right, depending on the circumstance,we call the
customer on it. Sometimes common sense is the best way to go in the
interviews so truthfully,be yourself in the interview.
