To me, Enterprise is a company that is thoroughly focused on it's
employees. It is one of the few companies that I have seen who offers
alternative working arrangements for employees with family needs, who
focuses on constant and open communication with it's employees about
growth and the future, and who truly looks out for the best interest of
it's employees. The environment is one that promotes hard work and
rewards for it, is very fun, and has a definite team atmosphere.
On the flip side, I can say it is a lot of hard work. The hours
sometimes seem long, although I don't see them being any different than
the national average. When I first started I was tired for the the
first few months, but I also found a competitive side of myself I
didn't know I had, and it taught me a lot about taking ownership of my
career and not counting on someone else for my own personal success. I
have advanced steadily through out my almost five years, and can see
future promotions available to me that I am consistantly looking
towards. Overall Enterprise has a very rapid promotion process. I
have seen people fall through the cracks and not succeed, but on a
whole those are more often than not people who can't or won't take
responsibility for their career and are more comfortable placing the
blame for their lack of success on another person or group of people.
