Job Title Salary Survey
Branch Office Admin In 1999, starting pay was on an escalating scale supposedly figured by competing job descriptions in a particular area...inside the loop, (Houston), the same job paid more than in Suburban areas. In Spring, I was told the most he could offer, at that time was $10.22 per hour, guaranteed 40 hours per week, immediate benefit eligibility- including paid holidays and sick days. There was also mention of future "bonuses", which were a possibility quarterly... "if" and "when" Profitability is reached by the branch, Bonuses would be given to the IR, who promises he will give you, the BOA, a percentage of, and Home office will "Match" up to 10% of, up to...blah blah blah. I worked there for almost 4 years...Dont count on "Bonus". Each year, on you anniversary date you are Evaluated. A 14 page evaluation which you fill out half of, (self evaluation), then you IR fills in his half. the last page is your collaberation, and the IR is mailed (privately) his new pay "Grid", which tells him his different options of how much he can raise your pay...generally that amount runs from 0 to about 6%. Quite disappointing since starting pay is so low... BUT, they will remind you, Bonus might happen this year...
