Actually my hire date is 7/20/87 so almost 17 1/2 years as a Jones
employee.
I hold several Limited Partnerships and my salary is highly competitive
for this blue collar town.
When I was hired I was told this was a "career" and not a "job"! How
true as I feel I have earned the equivalent of a college degree over
these 17 1/2 years of employment.
By choice I have remained a BOA not wanting to become a licensed IR
because of my age. Believe me is I was 15-20 years younger I would be
licensed.
I should mention I formal education ended after high school graduation.
My position is highly regarded in our town even though I currently
work parttime (I am 62). I really like the respect shown to me by the
company and the community and I must admit I like dressing
professionally to go to work.
