The business outlook for EDS is bleak, unless the stock price rises or
management philosophy and focus undergoes significant change. For now
the financial situation is stable although uncertain. EDS has strengths
in it's traditional focus on customer service and capacity to delivery
both depth and breadth of services although the stock price problems have
hampered this significantly. EDS is not competitive on price or
innovation - EDS also recognises this to be a problem although little has
been done to resolve this. Employee morale is very low and closely
linked to stock price. While this is not necessarily entirely the fault
of EDS, none-the-less EDS can not be recommended as an employer of
choice. The situation at the moment is relatively stable and could
change in either direction.
