Offered $66,400 or so. No signing bonus was offered, however I negotiated a
4,000 (after tax) bonus. Full relocation was paid. Benefits are very
competitve. New hire loan I spoke of above was offered. 2 weeks of vacation is
standard, however through the benefits packaged you can purchase up to an
additional week of vacation which is deducted from your weekly paycheck. Don't
expect any personalized relocation assistance from Corporate Relocation. This is
sad considering DuPont has been in Wilmington, DE for over 200 years and most all
of their businesses are HQ here, however they don't have any suggestions on
housing??? They did provide a service for $400 through a real estate agent who
bascially just drove you around and showed you whats available.
Each year you are eligible for variable compensation (bonus) in February
depending on your personal, business, and corporate performance. There is also a
merit (personal performance) increase in May. Typical merit increase on average
is 3%.
Currently I make approximately $66,500 with a $2500 (after tax) bonus.
Promotions don't usually come until after 2 years and have more to do with
timing than performance.
