Dreyfus service corporation is open from 8:00AM to 6:00PM M-F EST. The
dress code is business casual. The atmosphere is very relaxed but strict
adherence to attendence and punctuality is absolutely necessary. It is a
mutual funds call center. Also there are strict guidelines for
performance reviews and incentive pay. There are additional benefits
besides pay. You can earn complimentary days off and rewards or prizes
for superior performance. There is real opportunity for advancement at
Dreyfus. Some of the people who were once Client Associates are now vice
presidents and have been promoted from the ranks. Some people have been
at Dreyfus for over 17 years and many choose to stay. There is flexible
work hours and part-time work which is good for many who have children
and need to schedule their hours differently. There is also a nursery
and parking facility available for workers who drive. The location is a
very nice building with an indoor atrium and a modern cafeteria. The
lunches can be expensive but the food is acceptable, though sometimes
not great.
