As a relief nurse, my base rate was $30.00 per hour,time and one half
for the
first hour after regular hours were over, and double time for nursing
services
later in the evening or night. Call back was 3 hours pay. Stand by pay
was from
1645 to 0830 the next morning. Often the situation demanede the services
of the
stand by nurse as well - and occasionally I worked all night, after a
full and
busy day, and the shift following.
