I applied online through a local newspaper website on a Sunday night. I received a phone call on Monday to go in for an interview with the assistant sales manager for the juniors department. She wanted me to be interviewed a second time with the store manager that day, but he was unavailable. On Tuesday I went in for the second interview and was offered the job on the spot. I started training the next day. The only things I remember being asked were how my past experience could help me out at Dillard's and how I would deal with an irate customer.
