Deutsche Bank has a fairly relaxed work environment. For a while, suits
and ties were required, but as of the last few years, they have allowed
employees to dress business casual. There is a huge divide in the amount
of hours worked. Depending on the department and/or division you work,
some employees will work 60 hour weeks, while most will work a standard
9-5 shift. If you do work late into the evening, the bank will reimburse
for dinner and car service home is free. Many employees band together
and volunteer for various community and charity events such as
Neighborhood clean-up initiatives and AIDS/Breast Walks. Over the past
several years, the company has been downsizing most departments, as is
the same with most companies these days. In the past, DB continually
hired and was in a constant state of growth.
