Salary scale $30,240 to $47,846 (Euro 25,200 to 39,872)
There is generally no overtime available and bonuses are not paid. I am
expecting a 2% pay rise on 1st December, followed by an incremental
increase
next
May. I have an incremenal salary scale, therefore I have a pay increase
once
per
year. The Trade Unions further negotiate with the Employers Unions and
the
Government a further package of increases generally in line with
inflation.
I have 23 days paid leave per year, to be taken pretty much as I
choose. I also
have bank and public holidays as paid leave and the possibility of
working a
further 18 days leave per year as flexi leave. I may take up to two days
uncertified sick leave and not more than 7 per year, on full pay.
However, I
may
take 6 months certified sick leave on full pay, after which I am reduced
to half
pay for a further six months. If I haven't returned to full time work
after
that
I am put on a disability pension, which is based on the number of years
service.
There are a range of family friendly work options available working. I
have
four months paid maternity leave with the option of taking a further two
months
unpaid, my job is guaranteed upon my return. I can also take from six
months to
five years leave of absence, unpaid. A job is guaranteed if I decide to
return,
although it may not be the one I left or in that location.
