Executive Administrator I believe the corporate culture at DEA is very difficult to find in this day and age. The employee comes first. The employee is important. The company has great values, a great philosophy and great benefits. In todays market many companies require the employee to either pay for family benefits or partially pay for all benefits. This company pays for the full benefit package and it is extensive. There is medical, dental, 401K, flexible spending, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability insurance and ESOP. Recently I was greatly affected by these benefits due to a major illness. This company assured me my job was safe and they would do everything they could to help me through my illness. The president of the company stopped by my desk often to see how I was feeling. They offered to let other employees take me to and from treatment on company time. I received emails, cards, gifts and supportive phone calls constantly. From the owner on down, I was shown support. They let me telecommute and set it up so I could log into the server from my home. A computer specialist came to my home to make sure everything was working properly and helped me maintain it. Another great thing about DEA is every employee is important. They see the value in everyone not just the people bringing in the money but the production people, the support people. They give us the opportunity to initiate creative ways to do our job. This company encourages people to better themselves and has extensive training opportunities. They encourage people to continue education and will often help pay the expenses involved. They have flex time so people can be with their families or help them put their children first by letting them work 4 days a week keeping children out of daycare two days a week if both work. People have left here and stated they didn't know how good they had it at DEA. I think that says it quite nicely. I am very impressed with this company.
