The interview questions posited included items that elicited personal
values and problem solving skills. In retrospect, I see that the
questions were aligned with the corporate core values. I was offered the
position 'on the spot' after the interview. Since that interview I have
had the opportunity to interview and hire others for the company and
have learned that those employees who honestly can align themselves with
the elegantly simple core values are the type of people one would want
to stay with their organization. Those who do not demonstrate the basic
values reflected in the corporate core values have proven to be poorly
positioned here. I can only believe that my own answers during the
interview process did indeed reflect the value system the corporation
was building.
