Cypress is a great place to work, if you are ready to speak and hear
the truth, un-adorned by euphamism. If something is broken, expect to
say so and be told so. If someone has screwed up, expect to say so and
be told so. Answers should be short, to the point, and data based - and
you will be trained to do this. No room for waffling, BS, etc
If you've got a thin skin, can't cope with the truth bluntly spoken,
want to give waffle answers instead of data, then don't apply here.
If you want to work hard with smart, tough, business-minded people,
then you will fit right in. Very little politics - results based.
Dress - casual for engineers. Very strong culture; if you can't at
least "go with the flow" on culture you will not succeed.
Cypress rarely "buys" people - don't expect a big raise when you join,
but if you are good you can expect rapid promotions and raises. Pay is
pretty typical, but the stock-based compensation is very much above
average.
