I am currently in the Countrywide Home Loans University servicing
associate program. This basically means that I start out as a
servicing associate right after college, and go through
Countrywide's "UniversitY" training program where I learn the A-B-Cs of
mortgage and basic banking. Afterwards, you are placed into a position
as a business analyst, financial analyst, supervisor, manager, systems
analyst, and several other various positions. Hours are 8-5 normally,
but during the program they are more lenient (ie: 9-4 but u get paid
for 8-5). Very fun and friendly environment, people like working there
because they are working with people they like to work with.
Opportunities for advancement are great because it is such an expanding
company. Raises are twice a year, one based on performance, the other
is given to everyone.
