Coors does panel interview where they get several people into a room at
once to ask questions. Not all people are directly involved with the
job to be hired, but may be "subject matter experts". For instance in
my interview there was someone from an HR type role that was good at
evaluating personality fits with positions, etc. The questions are very
specific to the competencies identified in the job. In addition Coors
requires a personality test (caliper) for any manager and above level
job. There is typically only one round of interviews if the candidate
pool is small, or a couple to narrow it down.
