I have worked at three different facilities for Convergys in Utah. Two
of these plus another account that I have friends working in are
strange and difficult to work in due to some easily remedied problems.
If Convergys began to take training more seriously and placed more
emphasis on employee retention(insteady of treating people like
disposable containers) theirs would be an exceptional place to work.
I can only speak from a former employees perspective. I will say that I
am not angry with Convergys. I resigned my job due to a very
uncomfortable work environment. In the catagory of business outlook, I
can only speak to the issue of employee morale. It rapidly deteriorates
after training to a point of not caring about being fired in a matter
of 5 to 6 weeks. The quality control issue is given far too much
weight in asessing the employee's performance and little deviation is
tollerated.
