Computer Task Group, Inc. aka CTG. I've only been there for a very
short time thus cannot give very much details on the corporate culture.
However, it is a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. I was a contract
employee for IBM in White Plains, NY.
There was definitely diversity in almost all ethnic backgrounds and
regions. The hours are very flexible and doable. They care about its
employees very much when I had taken an unexpected day off to attend a
funeral. My CTG manager often check on me with trips to the IBM office
and takes our group to luncheons which is very generous and a good
atmosphere. The IBM department that I was working with was very
personable and very casual gathers for baby showers, and special
occassions with pooling a gift.
The dress code is business causal. For women is slacks or a skirt with
a sweater or shirt, for men is kakis/slack and a tucked-in shirt.
There is opportunity for advancement as well as relocation. I'd left
because the commute was too far from New York City to White Plains as it
was too exhausting and too stressful. CTG does employee evaluations or
reviews every 6 months with my CTG manager and IBM manager.
