I actually walked in to the hotel itself to inquire whether or not they
were currently hiring. the manager happened to be in at the time. I
filled out an application and waited for him in the office. he gave me
an on the spot interview and later told me that he did so because from
the moment i approached him he knew i had potential. he called me the
next day to schedule another interview with the head of management, the
general manager. it went very well and i was hired on the spot. one
question i remember being asked was "why do i think i would be best for
the job as compared to any other applicant?" he also asked me if i was
in a stable living environment and if i planned to reside local for a
long time. but the most important question he asked me was, "when does
good customer service begin?"
