Screened on the phone as a follow-up to my resume submission for the
open job. Made it to the hiring director for an in-person interview,
and he was very relaxed and asked great questions on a subject that he
had some insight to, but no practical experience managing. I was the
first manager for my function for this region. He asked a lot of "how
do you perform XYZ," to see how I thought a problem or scenario would
be handled and properly escalated.
