I love working for Clear Channel for a number of reasons. The first
reason really is because it's a great company! They are well
organized. They are willing to promote from with-in and they work hard
to pay attention to your best skills. They can help find a nitch for
you in the company where you can do your best. They want your best
skills working for them. The atmosphere is great too. You have
employees with no more than a high-school education to people with
master's! Everyone gets along even with the tremendous amount of
diversity. Another great reason for working at Clear Channel is the
resources they give me. They give me so many resources that enable me
to do my best. I have instant access to statistics, research and
ideas. They are so big that networking comes in handy often and my
paychecks DON'T BOUNCE!!! Radio is a 24-7 job. We don't just commit
to five days a week. If an event is on a weekend (as many of them are)
you are expected to be there. It's not so bad, the perks are great and
it's always exciting.
