Job Title Workplace Survey
Investor Center Manager In the nineties, working for this Company was phenomenal. But times have changed and the firm has been raped by too many greedy, lazy employees (middle/upper mgmt making way too much $$) who have made their fortunes and moved on. The culture that Chuck built the company on are terrific. His Visions and Values were sincere and truly put the client's needs first, but unfortunately it is easier to have "values" when the profits are pouring in and you can afford to. Once the market turned around and Schwab was forced to cut costs (way too late, I might add)it seems that they no longer have the luxury of having much in the way of values. Most of those employees who truly believed in the companies ethics, are no longer around to help Chuck care them on. The "new" Schwab employee is hired on his cut-throat sales ethics (none) and expected to produce numbers that are so unattainable, they would make the most honest person consider bending the rules.
