I faxed a copy of my current resumee and an application, which I found
on the website of the Dept. of Workforce Services here on Utah. I was
then called a few days later for an interview at the company
headquarters in Bountiful.
The woman who interviewed me, a processing department assistant
manager, explained what sorts of duties I would be expected to perform,
what the pay level was, etc. She then asked me several questions as to
my personal work history, and work ethic. The one question I remember
most was what character trait I possessed was least appealing. I
answered that I hate being late, and also that I pursue problems or
difficulties doggedly until I find a solution. And that I ask for help
if it is needed. I then replied that I was not afraid to work late, or
to work overtime to accomplish the mission or obective at hand.
I was not expecting to be offered a position before I left, but was
shocked and pleased to be offered one right away. I came back the next
morning for a training class, and started that afternoon!
