My most recent salary package was deadlocked at a frozen $37,100.00 (+
medical and dental). All raises and promotions were placed on hold and
a lot of employees were shut out of any compensation increases (while a
few "yes men (and women)" managed to almost double their salaries in the
same period... Force travel during weekends to support offices all over
United States, and back to work with no compensated time off, then
travel again over the next weekend (IT sweat shop ran by Accountants and
business men who would never dream of expecting the same work ethic from
anyone except their IT division). Not satisifed with the actual
compensation given as opposed to what was promised during the
negotiations with the company (one of the reasons why I left - that and
the 80+ - 100 hour work weeks).
