I worked from March 1991 to July 1997 in NYC. It was a very
professional atmosphere, before the days of Corporate casual attire. The
hours were 8:30 to 4:30. Thre was a little opportunity for
advancement. It was an advantage if you began your career at
burlington, rather than joining the company later into your career.
Today, the company is very poorly run. Those that are left from the
purge of the last few years are lackinfg in experience leadership, and
knowledge. My division has performed well over the years, and we are
being hampered at every turn by poor deciasion making at the top, and we
are also hurt by other divisions not performing well.
