Being employed with Bunnings Warehouse, is actually getting up in the
morning and being excited to go to work!
Bunnings Warehouse is a dynamic workplace. When the store opened in
2000, the team that were employed were asked, what values they wanted in
their workplace environment.
Having made these values as a team, there is a sense of belonging to the
company. Each year their are rewards given to team members who used the
values the most in their day to day work.
The vision was also created by the team members, it is two paragraphs
that sum up where the company wants to be in the retail hardware
sector.
Bunnings is opened seven days a week, and there are casual, part time
and full time positions available. Recruiting occurs late winter to
early spring. Or occasionally a position is advertised throughout the
year.
The store hours are from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Wednesday, 7am to 9pm
Thursday and Friday, and from 8am -6pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Dress code is Bunnings logo red polo t-shirt, red logo long sleve shirt,
and red logo collared wincheter. You can wear denim jeans, or shorts.
With everyone wearing a leather boot, rossi or blundstone.
There are also opportunities for advancement, with manager traineeships
undertaken to those eligible.
