Overall, BC is in a great cost position. We've weathered the downturn
in the economy, held the competition at bay, kept our dealers happy
(relatively), our products have never been more innovative, and people
around here are generally happy. Now, if we can only get the economy to
turn back around, provide some more disposble income to those in the
market for expensive pool tables and sleek/fast yachts, we'll be in some
pretty good shape.
Overall, BC is a great place to work and I would highly encourage
individuals interested in the recreation industry to seriously consider
taking a closer look at a company that is more than a bowling ball
manufacturer. Most see the Brunswick name and immediately think of
their childhood bowling experiences, and that's great-we definitely have
our history in bowling. But there is so much more to this company than
just bowling, I urge any prospective candidate to do their homework and
learn as much as you possibly can about the history of Brunswick.
People around here are very proud of what they do and the environment in
which we work. Keep that in mind when you think of Brunswick.
