Senior Grants Research Specialist	The hiring process involved submitting a resume detailing qualifications for the position. All resumes are rated and the top five to 10 qualified individuals are selected for a behavioral interview. This interview included a minimum of three (3) persons asking questions. The immediate supervisor, division's assistant director and one other supervisor conducts the interview. One specific question I remember was what characteristics do I value and see as most important in a manager/supervisor. Other questions were specifically tailored to assessing how knowledgeable I was about grant writing and research (job specific).
