Blue Cross defines the term "equal opportunity employer." The company
takes pride in its equal employment atmosphere. Although it offers a
great deal of opportunity to people seeking employment within the
company, once you are hired the opportunities for advancement are slim.
However, the company does have a few other perks. The dress code only
limits clothing adorned with another insurance company's logo and
shorts. Jeans and t-shirts set the fashion trend within the company.
Also, even when you have had no prior job experience in your life, you
can start out being paid over $11 an hour. This job sure beats working
in a part time environment being paid minimum wage.
