The training for entry-level positions is excellent within the departments, and additional training is available from Bloomberg University. Employees are allowed to attend classes during the workday. However, the job gets boring quickly. All the available data positions are data entry positions. There is very little challenge, other than dealing with management. Managers are only hired from within, and are promoted with little or no experience. This leads to many difficulties and low employee morale. They are making efforts to improve on this, with more training required for management. The corporate culture is one that promotes hard work and "fun" to some extent. There are no levels in the company other than Data Analyst and management, so there is little opportunity for advancement.
