The interview process whent pretty smoothly. The first interview is
all automated and is done on the computer or over the phone with an
automated device. This interview is called the personality test, it has
questions like how do you work with others, and if you found a dollar on
the floor, who would you give it too and stuff like that, keep in mind
that it is all timed. After that, you get set up with a second
interview with is usually with a manager other than the general manager,
and they go over your first automated interview questions and answers
and figure out how your demeanor is, how you showed up to the interview,
what your qualifications (if any) are, and if you understand what Best
Buy is all about. If you pass this interview you will automatically
know because after you are done they will set you up with an interview
with the general manager (if you dont they will tell you that they will
call you if they need you). The Third interview is more like a welcome
to the company and a quick overview of how you did on your second
interview. Keep in mind personal appearence and demeanor still play a
role in this process as well were people have gotten to the third
interview and left jobless because they were wearing other than suitable
business atire. The general manager will then go over the
qualifications with you one more time and tell you what position they
think will best fit you and what will be expected of you at work.
