Current Salary not counting annual bonus $64K. Hiring Salary 62K, salary freezes
for the last several years with about $1800 in annual bonuses.
No stock options - didn't know at the time that was possible. Vacation policy is
never negotiable although comp time was offered. At the time 2 week vacation
entitlement starts at the first of the year. Under new management a few hours
each week is accrued. Management, to save reduce the size of layoffs has been
forcing 40 hours of unpaid or vacation time to be taken whenever there is a bad
quarter. This leaves anyone with under 15 years of service with no vacation
during the period you'd like to take vacation or without a paycheck for the
week,
salary or not! It doesn't seem legal but who is going to protest? Since we work
as a team we would rather absorb these financial difficulties than loose a team
member from our engineering group.
