The corporate environment is very competitive and there is not much of a
sense of team. It appears that much of the company is out for personal
gain and not focussed on growing the business or people.
Personal performance is less evaluated on functional competence and more
on time charged to the client. Although this is important, often times
there is more time spent at the client due to incompetence and inability
to fulfill tasks to complete the project specifically.
There is also a gross lack of project management skills that were
finally gained with the integration of the ex-Andersen staff that was
hired.
