Job Title Workplace Survey
Management Analyst There is a high degree of urgency when working for BearingPoint but the overall culture is very laid back and friendly but very professional. There is a high emphasis on "learn while you work" and all levels of staff are required to complete learning credits via BearingPoint's online learning portal. Courses range from administrative, managerial, business law, technical courses, how to deal with difficult clients, etc. Courses are available to all levels of staff. There is room for advancement, but the standards are extremely high, you pretty much have to be superman to attain the requirements to advance to the next level. Performance reviews are done three times a year (goal setting - August, mid-year review - January and end of the year review - July). Feedback on performance is given by all levels of staff. Dress code is professional/ casual business. The work is challenging and always changing. Salary is good (could be better for some positions) and hours can be long or "normal" depending on your work ethics and efficiency. Working for BearingPoint gives you the ability to gain experience in all areas i.e., Defense, Health Care, Education, Information Technology, all three levels of Government, Oil and Gas, Forestry, etc. It's a great place to start a career but it's not for the timid, the lazy and 9-5ers.
