BearingPoint is very good at what we do. Our clients love us, and when
we go head-to-head against IBM and Accenture they treat us as a very
serious threat.
What we have not done well is build out our infrastructure as a public
company. We just fired our CEO, and retired our CFO, in order to bring
in new management to make the necessary changes. Will it succeed?
Honestly, you have to look at the press - or ask me again - between
March and June 2005. If we're successful at this, then BearingPoint
will once again be a great place to work. If not, then someone's going
to buy us out for pennies on the dollar. I honestly hope it's the
former - we have something special here that can serve us and our
clients well, and I'd hate to lose it.
