The business outlook for the Health Services group looks pretty good. A
decent and consistent growth record in the last few years with a planned
growth of doubling employees and revenue in the next few years makes
this a "relatively" safe place to be. As of June 2004 this group has
lifted its 2-3 percent salary raise cap. On the downside, recent
employee satisfaction survey results from an internal groupwide poll
clearly show that satisfaction is exceedingly low. Forty percent feel
they have no genuine opportunity for career advancement and 20 percent
expect to look beyond BP for employment in the coming year. BP has its
work cut out for itself to retain employees while also growing the
practice.
