I had previously worked at Bayada Kids in New Castle, DE. I was
contacted by the above office for interest in resuming work. Initial
interview:
high competency test score, Mantoux #1 administered - results negative,
was
invited to children's on-site Christmas Party the following week, then
received
a
rejection letter. All efforts to
contact the recruiter via phone and e-mail to request exit
interview received no response. I have e-mail contact in to main office
as to whether there is a problem and how it may be addressed. My past
experience with Bayada was an extremely positive situation. I had to
resign due to personal issues that could have possibly been available
without complete explanation on background check. I have all clearances
from my healthcare providers to return to work and had a clean physical
and mental health physical report to file with Bayada but never
received the opportunity. I'm hopeful that now that my situation has
been communicated to the central headquarters that these issues will be
resolved. I found Bayada a caring and pleasant employer. I personally
know of several incidences where they took the extra steps to assist
nurses who where in self reported recovery programs. This info was
personally by the individuals in the program with high praise for the
company support. I am sure that I will be able to report a reasonable
handling of my situation given Bayada's superior history.
