Working for this employer was as easy as eating ice cream. The atmoshere
was relaxed and the entire faculty was extremely friendly.
As an healthcare facility, Baxter Regional strived and placed much
importance on not only patient satisfaction but, employee satisfaction
as well. In a very rural area of Arkansa, there were only a few
minorities. I never sensed any problems. Uniforms (prescribed dress)
were required. You could rent them or provide your own.
As stated before, this medical center is located in a very rural area of
northern Arkansas. Thus, thre were many that wnted to work there. Many
had to accept unfavorable positions just to be employed by them. During
my short stint with BRMC i noted several people moving to better jobs
after they had been thre for a couple years. However, a managemnet
position was next to impossible to attain. Those in management were not
going anywhere.
