Battelle is a diverse employer that is very one sided about opportunity
and advancement. It can be very easy to become lost in the shuffle of
young go getters and back stabbers all looking to get ahead of each
other. Hours are very regular for most employees and the dress code for
laboratory individuals is business casual. There are opportunities for
advancement, however, there is strong favoritism shown in who gets the
jobs. Those who can maintain good social status and attain credit for
what gets done are the first in line for new positions and advancement.
