Corporate culture is sneaky, political and phony southern, run by the
old timers who were here before the mergers, and existed in a merger
environment, and don't know anything else but protecting their jobs at
the expense of anything. Not a lot of forward looking types here. People
are
walking on eggshells, they claim an "inclusive meritocracy" but don't
rock the boat - or you will be blackballed and eventually "downsized".
Any
free thinkers should steer clear of this place. A poor
Leadership Development (LD) program, stressing the wrong
qualities in managers, which turns into a drip down into middle and
lower management, the LD group actually pushes a political agenda. I
took the job because I was out of work and regret it, I was always a
fast track employee in other organizations, but much like the
personality of Charlotte overall, you just can't get in to these peoples
heads to effectuate change or have them do anything without it beign
signed off on and blessed by everyone.
People with expertise in areas are pushed aside by political strivers
who have the blessing of higher-ups, frustrating.
