Operations Manager I was given a severance packet in December 2004. The Bank of America culture was not bad a couple of years ago. Last year, that changed for me. I had a new manager who was and still is clueless. My peers did not like the new boss and the associates asked how I worked with this individual. No one liked this person and the boss was constantly caught lying to me and my peers, the associates could not stand the new boss and was afraid of being around this person. The hours and casual dress code was good but the corporate culture is going down the tube. Everyone I know says when you apply for a job, it's not what you know but, it's who you know. Favortism is high. So, if you intend on applying at Bank of America, be nice to the right people.
