With so many banks now offering free checking, I wish that I could offer that to my customers as well. Then again, Bank of America has such high standards for customer service, accuracy, etc. I do think the maintenance fees are well worth it just to bank with us! The personal bankers go out of their way to give a personal touch to every interaction they have with customers. We always have hot coffee to offer and even cookies on fridays when we're slammed. We give kids lollipops when their parents drag them to the bank. We even have dog bones for the people in the drive up window! Bank of America really does go above and beyond for customers AND its employees. I'm very proud to work there!
