The pay was fair, however, the problem was the pay increases and bonus
were more of a joke in the department. No individual is to talk pay
package, but of course people do and the descrepancies were extreme.
The lead portfolio managers (titles changed about 3 times in 4 years)
received around $100k and bonus of $20k. Low end PMs received $40k and
$10k bonus in Chicago while Columbus was closer to $30k for most PMs and
max of $10k bonus. Very few ever received their bonus.
The move package is excellent. If you are executive level, you receive
one months pay, one month at a new location, meals, et al. which cover
the majority of all your expenses. I do not know how well the other
packages are put together.
Stock options are available, but, rare to come by.
Educational benefits are fantastic, but that is changing as the company
is putting a cap on the amount as well as now requiring numerous
signatures for classes.
