The interview questions at BAS are similar to any
other investment bank and can vary greatly depending
on the interviewer. The two most important questions
you should be able to answer before going into the
interview are why do you want to go into investment
banking, and what are the characteristics you have
that would make you a good analyst/associate? You
should cite specific examples from coursework/jobs.
The key is to show that you are comfortable with
numbers, intellectually curious, a good team member
and willing to work hard. If you were considering
buying a company (or a stock), how would you decide
what to pay for it? You should have both hard answers
like P/E, EBITDA multiples or DCF as well as softer
ones, like strength of management and prospects for
the industry).
